Noah Huntington

Web Developer - GIS Ninja - Python Enthusiast

I am a 36-year old GIS Enthusiast from Texas. I am passionate about everything related to web and GIS development. To stay sharp, practice new skills, and meet new people I freelance web development tasks. I possess a Master’s Degree in GIS and assume full time responsibility for the design, implementation, and dissemination of GIS products and services for an organization involved with providing Professional Land Surveying services on large scale projects across the Southwestern United States.

When I am not reading documentation, watching videos or attending various conferences looking for new ways to extend my GIS and the web, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, as well running, swimming, and wood-working.

The following sections illustrate some of my recent work...

Python is a free, cross-platform, open-source programming language that is both powerful and easy to learn. It is widely used and supported. To learn more about Python, visit python.org.

Leaflet js is the leading open-source JavaScript library for mobile-friendly interactive maps. Leaflet is designed with simplicity, performance and usability in mind. It works efficiently across all major desktop and mobile platforms, can be extended with lots of plugins, has an easy to use and well-documented API and simple intuitive source code.
